Magic Legacy

Merrill’s great-great-grandfather George Raps (1853-1917) was a dynamic magician, mindreader and entrepreneur. Raps’ signature effect was the ‘Cabinet of Music Spirits’, popularized by magicians and mediums throughout the turn of the century.

Merrill, his son and friends recreated the Spirit Cabinet at a Halloween event.
